Cue various peculiar English rituals, among them pretending that the appalling weather isn't going to ruin your summer fun.

Hence my wandering around a very wet Sheffield station taking photos whilst waiting for a connection.

One particular joy of being a student is that, once you've tolerated the particular circle of hell that is revision and exams, a four-month summer stretches out before you, begging to be filled with friends, music and travel.
